Obituary of Elizabeth D. "Grabke" "Bradley" Meints

Of Flushing, age 91, died, Friday, May 9, 2015, at Medilodge of Montrose. Funeral service will take place 10:00 am, Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Genesee Township. Deacon Ron Kenney will officiate with burial to follow at New Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 from 4:00 pm to 8:30 pm, rosary will be held at 7:30 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Flushing Knights of Columbus Council 8489. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Elizabeth was born January 22, 1924, in Detroit, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John and Emma (Schultz) Grabke. She and John Bradley were united in marriage in 1947. Sadly, he preceded her in death in 1985. She and Donald Meints were united in marriage on December 31, 1998 in Florida. She worked as a manager for West Side Credit Union where she retired in 1973. Elizabeth loved and dedicated her time to her family. Left to cherish her memory are her six children: Bruce and wife, Darla Bradley, Barry and wife, Jackie Bradley, Jacqueline and husband, Robert Peek, Blaise and wife, Sharon Bradley, Christine Peek, and Brian and wife, Vicky Bradley; grandchildren: Nikole, Bethany, Cory, Michael, Markie, Andrew and Pierce; three great-grandchildren, Bradley, Blake, and Lincoln. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John, four brothers, four sisters, and son-in-law Jim Peek.
