Obituary of Robby Shane Hilts

Of Montrose, age 49, died, Thursday, April 23, 2015. The funeral service will take place 11:00 am, Monday, April 27, 2015, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Genesee Township. Brother Clint Peters will officiate with burial to follow at Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive friends on Sunday, April 26, 2015, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm, and Monday from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the family. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Rob was born January 1, 1966, in Flint, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard and Ethel (McIntosh) Hilts. He and Sheri Williams were united in marriage on March 4, 1995, in Clio. Rob worked for Wal-Mart in Clio. He enjoyed flower gardening, raising his animals including his dog Abi, and playing cards. Left to cherish his memory is his wife; four children: Brenden Giffel and wife, Keely, Brianna Giffel, Austin Hilts, and Annalise Hilts; three brothers and sisters: Melonie and husband, Al Bates, Ricky and wife, Tammy Hilts, and Randy and wife Pam Hilts; uncle, Wayne Hilts; and many nieces and nephews.
