Obituary of Rosamond A. Koszarek

Age 97, of Caro, formerly of Mt. Morris, died Saturday, April 18, 2015, at Heritage Hill of Caro, Michigan. Cremation has taken place with burial to follow at Flint Memorial Park in Mt. Morris. Rosamond was born February 7, 1918, in Thetford Twp., Michigan; the daughter Mr. & Mrs. Otho and Bessie (Whitman) McDonald. She married William Hagadorn December 28, 1937; he preceded her in death January 15, 1968. She would later marry Kenneth Koszarek on May 25, 1982; he also preceded her in death on November 17, 1997. Rosamond worked as a cook for Prophet Foods for 15 years, retiring in 1977. She lived in the Genesee County area until 1983, moved to the Upper Peninsula for 15 years then moved back to Mt. Morris until 1998. Left to cherish her memory; six children: Eva (Patrick) O'Sullivan, Leon Hagadorn, William Hagadorn, Wilma Williams, Howard Hagadorn, Paul (Sally) Hagadorn, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many other family members. Rosamond was preceded in death by her parents, first husband William Hagadorn, second husband Kenneth Koszarek, son Robert Hagadorn, grandson Bill Hagadorn, two brothers: Gail and George, one sister Shirley Noyce, two daughters-in-law: Connie and Barb Hagadorn, and son-in-law Jerry Williams.
