Obituary of Brian Lee Block

Age 42 of Saranac, formerly of Mt. Morris died suddenly Sunday, April 12, 2015. Funeral service will be held 3:00 pm Thursday, April 16, 2015, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Genesee Township. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, from 11:00 am until time of service at 3:00 pm, with cremation to follow. Memorial donations may be directed to the family. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Brian was born the son of Richard and Gloria (Brady) Block in Flint, Michigan, on January 4, 1973. Raised in Mt. Morris, he was educated locally and went on to work in the construction industry. Brian enjoyed music, golfing, cooking, and most importantly spending time with family and friends. Left to cherish his memory are his fiancee, Darcie McMillon; three children, Paige, Tylor, and Aerabella; mother, Gloria Block and Gary; brothers, Jeff and Wendy, Rick and Ruth, Mark and Melinda, and Randy; sisters, Lori, Dawn, Jody, Alexis, Amber Lynn & Rich, Carla and Bob, and Shelli and Greg; many aunts; uncles; cousins, nieces; nephews, great nephews Remi and Kash and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard; brother, Scott; grandparents; special aunt, Sheryl Brady; and cousin, Tracy Franks.
