I am recent YMCA buddy. Jon always greeted people at the Y with a smile and a story. I think he took on the job of "offical greeter". So warm and friendly we will miss him. We need more "Juan's" in this world to bring us joy.

I am a friend of Juan's from the YMCA. Juan and I would talk every morning at the "Y" about the Lions, the Tigers, life and many other things. He always brought a smile to my face, made my day better and I looked forward to seeing him and talking to him every day. I have really missed him these last few months. I was so saddened a short time back when I heard of his illness. I want to send my sympathy and condolences to his family. I as well as all his friends at the "Y" will miss him very much.
