Dear Charlotte and Family\ I was so shocked and saddened when I heard about Jack. It was hard to believe, and seems much too soon, but God has a plan for all of us. Jack and I go back a lot of years, to late 1953. We worked together to help organize the VFW, which brought back a lot of memories. I will miss him, he was a great guy and good friend. I wish I could have been there for the services. My deepest sympathy and prayers to comfort you. Bill Hamilton

Charlotte, your husband and family were like a part of my family growing up. The time I spent with you all at your house, playing, swimming in the pool, all these things made my childhood a much happier time than it would have otherwise been. I'm so sorry to all of you for your loss, Jack was a great man and we will all miss him very much. At least we can be comforted in the knowledge that he is in a very good place now, waiting for the days when we will all join him. I will be coming to the funeral home tonight, but I'm not so good at getting these words out when I feel so emotional, so I am saying it here. I love you Jack (and Charlotte), and thank you for being a part of my life.

Char & family.\ Durring this time of sorrow it is hard being apart. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you. \ Our hearts have a void, but we both know Dad is where he wanted to be, and we are happy for him. \ I pray that you remember all the joy dad has given to those who knew him, and especially to me after I lost my dad.
