Obituary of Pauline Halliday

Of Mt. Morris, died Sunday, March 8, 2015, at Gross Assisted Living in Clio. The funeral service will take place 11:00 am, Thursday, March 12, 2015, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Rev. Harold Stratton will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Pauline’s family will be present at the funeral home to receive friends on Wednesday from 6:30 pm until 8:30 pm; Thursday, from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am. Pauline was born September 1, 1916, in Millington, Michigan the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Fred and Alice (Woods) Riness. She married B. George Halliday on April 1, 1934, in Flint. He preceded her in death on January 2, 1996. Pauline enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and sewing. Left to cherish her memory, son, Bart Halliday; daughter, Judith (Harold) Stratton; six grandchildren: James (Brenda) Halliday, Carol (Alan) Cheely, Christine Mankin, Robert Halliday, David (Amy) Stratton and Steven (Kelly) Stratton; 14 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren; many other family members and friends. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter-in-law Betty Halliday, three brothers and three sisters.
