Obituary of Cassie Leigh Pashby

Age 20, of Mt. Morris, died Wednesday, January 28, 2015, at Mott Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor. Family will receive friends at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services. on Saturday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. On Sunday funeral service will be at 2:00 pm, with visitation from 12:00 noon until time of service. Mr. Sim Boggs will officiate. Private burial will take place in Flint Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be directed to the family. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Cassie was born August 3, 1994, in Royal Oak, Michigan, the daughter of Jeffrey and Techla (Szewczyk) Pashby. Growing up in Mt. Morris, she was educated locally, graduating from Elisabeth Ann Johnson High School in 2012. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and listening to music. Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Jeff and Techla; fiancé, Ron Fink; special aunt, Cheryl and Gregory Stover, aunts and uncles, Rebecca and Steve Elliott, Darwin and Mitzi Pashby, Pamela Frishcosy, Marie and Darrel Bigbee, Tony Szewczyk; and several cousins and friends. Cassie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Marvin and Phyllis Pashby and Jack and Penny Szewczyk. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the doctor's and nurse's and Mott Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor for 20 years of wonderful care.
