Obituary of Anne Nickola

Of Mt. Morris Township, died Tuesday, January 27, 2015, at her home. Mass of Christian Burial will take place 11:00 am Friday, January 30, 2015, at Our Lady of Lebanon Catholic Church. Rev Fr. Pierre Bassil will officiate with cremation to follow. Family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 9:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am. Memorial donations may be directed to St. Jude's Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the church. Anne was born August 19, 1926, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David and Mary (Moses) Nickola. She was married to William Robbins who has preceded her in death. Anne was partner and operator of Diane Mobile Homes in Mt. Morris and also owned Adnic Power Pack Pedestals. She was the first woman electrician licensed in the State of Michigan. Anne was a member of Our Lady of Lebanon Catholic Church and enjoyed the outdoors and traveling. Left to cherish her memory are her brother, John and wife, Barb Nickola; niece, Vikki Bayeh Haley and husband, Patrick Haley and their children, Nicholas, Danielle and Jacob; nieces and nephews, Ted and wife, Jaque Valley, Susan Valley, Janissee Nickola, Dana Nickola and husband, Gary, David Nickola, John IIand wife, Nicole Nickola, Michael Nickola and Nicholas Nickola; and many great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William; sister, Jean Valley; brother, David Nickola; and sister, Diane Bayeh, who recently died September 9, 2014. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Joann, Katie, Sharon, DeAudtra, and Terriya for the care given to Anne. They also wish to thank Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services and June's Floral Company both of Mt. Morris for all the help and support with recent funerals.
