Obituary of Charles R. Frazier

Age 85 of Clio, died Sunday, January 4, 2015, at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday, January 6, 2015, at Bethany United Methodist Church 353 E. Vienna Street Clio. Pastor John Bailey will officiate. Private burial will be held at Flint Memorial Park at a later date. Family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday, from 12:00 noon until time of service at 1:00 pm. Charles was born in Flint, Michigan, August 24, 1929. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph and Philine (VanTifflin) Frazier. Charles proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He worked for Buick as a Quality Inspector until his retirement. Charles married Donna Way on July 2, 1955. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 59 years, Donna; three children, Chuck and wife, Ranae Frazier, Sally and husband, George Mellendorf and Susan and husband, Patrick Thomas; six grandchildren, Aaron and wife, Courtney Frazier, Matthew and wife, Michelle Squires, Ryan Squires and finacee, Lauren Tewilliager, Patrick Thomas and fiancee, Sara Bellant, Logan and wife Tracey Frazier and Shawn Thomas; six great-grandchildren, sisters, Betty Haines, Jean Thrall, Maxine VunCannon, Joyce Garey and Carol and husband, Tim Sanders; sister-in-law, Nancy Frazier; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Richard Frazier and sister, Kate Jewett.
