I gave Ben the ride of his life on the way to a fire. I did a 360 or a doughnut with the fire truck at the corner of Coldwater Rd. and Detroit Street. We never lost a man or helmet during the spin and we continued to the fire. Another ride, Ben and I ran into a house and up the stairs. At the same time someone shot water thru an upstairs window and we ended up at the bottom of the stairs. My friend for 50 years and fellow fireman. Gone but in our hearts and mind.
