Obituary of Marion Henry

Age 82, of Clio died Monday, December 29, 2014. Funeral service will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, January 6, 2015, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services. Mr. Ron Shamel will officiate with burial to follow in Thetford Township Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services on Sunday, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Monday, from 12:00 noon to 8:00 pm and on Tuesday, from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am. Memorial donations may be directed to Serenity Assisted Living. Marion was born in Saginaw, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John and Ruby (Oaks) West. She worked for Genesee Township for many years until her retirement. Marion was a volunteer for Kearsley Rescue Squad, the Gleaners and the Otisville Library. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Philip Henry, Ralph Henry, Bruce and wife, Michele Henry Alan Henry and Brenda Evert; grandchildren, Kara Peters, Johnathan Henry, Sierra and Shylah Henry, Nadine and Alicia Hegedus, and Danielle and Dustin Lintz; brother, Howard West; sister, Ruth Ann Enis; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson Shawn Henry; and brothers, Robert and Donald West. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Staff of Serenity Assisted Living for the wonderful care given to our mother.
