Age 87 of Frankenmuth, formerly of Lake Saint Louis, Missouri, died Sunday, December 21, 2014, at Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Michigan. Funeral service will be held 3:00 pm, Sunday, December 28, 2014. Pastor David Burkett will officiate. Private burial will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services on Sunday, from 1:00 until time of service at 3:00 pm. Doris was born September 7, 1927, in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh and Theresa (Wells) Jones. She and Murray Cochrane were united in marriage February 18, 1950. Doris was active in the Methodist and Presbyterian Churches and enjoyed sewing, knitting, playing cards and golfing. She was a hospital volunteer at St. Joseph West in Lake St. Louis and Crittenton Hospital in Rochester. Doris leaves to cherish her memory, three children and families, Jim and wife Kim Cochrane and their children, Alexandra and John; Randy Cochrane and his children, Josh and wife Tracey and Justin and wife Amy; Judy and husband Ken Jackson and their children, Tim and wife, Katie, Kevin, and Beth; great-grandchildren, Hayden, Ryker and Trenton Jackson and Rhett Cochrane; brother, Walter and wife Carol Jones and many special people whose lives she touched.
