Obituary of Raymond M. Wallace

Of Flint, age 74, died Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at his home. The funeral service will take place 12:00 pm, Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris, with burial to follow in Great Lakes National Cemetery. Raymond's family will be present at the funeral home on Monday to receive friends from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. On Tuesday from 10:00 am until time of service at 12:00 pm. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Foundations of Dementia Care. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Raymond was born September 1, 1939, in Flint, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd and Norma (Fleming) Wallace. He spent twenty years as a truck driver for Valisic Pickle until retiring in 2003. In his younger days, he enjoyed playing a variety of card games and going to family get-togethers. Left to cherish his memory, are his loving children, Norma (James) Tilton, Raymond (Sandy) Wallace, Jr., William (Pokuli) Wallace, Tracy (Pauline) Wallace and Kimberly (Randy) Lamb; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Joann Baxter and many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Doris, two brothers John and Maylan Wallace and his sister Ruth Ann Burbank.
