Obituary of Peggy Oliver

Age 82, of Mt. Morris, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2014, while surrounded by her family at her home. A Celebration of Peggy’s life will take place at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Pastor John Henson will officiate with burial to follow at Flint Memorial Park. Family will be present at the funeral home to receive friends on Monday, December 22, 2014, from 2:00 pm until 8:00pm and Tuesday, December 23, 2014, from 12:00 noon until the time of service at 1:00 pm. There will be a Bowling Hall of Fame program from 7:00pm until 8:00pm on Monday. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Family, Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Peggy was born July, 9, 1932, in Nettleton Arkansas, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lehman and Thelma (Myrtle) Stickler. She married Bruce Oliver in Jonesboro Arkansas on September 11, 1950; they were happily married for 64 years. She was a member of the Bowling Hall of Fame. She enjoyed traveling, bowling, golfing, shopping and hunting. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Bruce Oliver, her daughter Yvette Lobato, special friends Martha and Roy Brown her heart daughters Sue Manteufel and Sandi Brewer Special thanks to Carol Nowak, Jack Cannon, Wayne Murray and so many others.
