Of Mt. Morris, age 72, died December 16, 2014, at McLaren Regional Hospital in Flint. Cremation has taken place. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the family fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
Joan was born September 30, 1942 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph and Bertha DeVille. She and Garry Hickie were united in marriage August 15, 1987 in Mt. Morris. Joan Loved to spend time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.
Joan left to cherish her memory are her son Scott, four grandchildren, Kayla, Ryan, Eric, and Emily; two brothers; Mike DeVille, Paul DeVille, four sisters; Sue Urban, Jenny Hayes, Wendy Estes, Annette Compagnari, Nieces; Amanda, Bonnie, Becky, and many other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Garry, brother Doug Winters, sister Sally Joseph, Nephew Christopher Hayes.
Family would like to send a special thank you to Becky Redwine for her love and care.
