Obituary of Charles Martin O'Hara

Age 56 of Mt. Morris died Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at McLaren Flint. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, November 29, 2014, at 11:00 am, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, November 28, 2014, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Saturday, from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am. Memorial donations may be directed to Make A Wish Foundation. Charles was born July 11, 1958, in Flint, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward and Charlene (Bunker) O'Hara. He worked for GM Truck and Bus until his retirement. Charles was a big U of M, Tigers and Red Wings fan, and enjoyed hunting, fishing golfing and cooking. He was a member of the Flushing Moose Lodge #1897. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Ed and Charlene; brothers, Patrick O'Hara and Thomas O'Hara; sister, Colleen and husband, Ronald Latimer; nieces and nephews, Danette and husband, Matt Jones, Heather O'Hara, Brian O'Hara and Kyle Latimer; several great-nieces and nephews; girlfriend, Diane O'Dell; and several aunts; uncles; cousins; friends. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Staff of McLaren-Flint, especially, Paul, Hannah, Tamara and Melissa for the care and compassion shown to Charles and his family.
