As I think back on this past year, I stop and thank God for answering so many of my last prayers for mom. First I prayed that she would never have to go into a facility. And second that she would not suffer greatly from the cancer that in time would take her home. I am forever grateful for this beautiful woman that I was blessed to be able to call my mom. Her never ending smile and constant positive attitude that she carried throughout her life is a testimony to anyone who might question if there is a loving God out there. I don't think I knew of a stronger human being. It is now my prayer that I can become a loving, kind and forgiving person that she portrayed throughout her life. And to know that someday I will see my mom and dad again helps carry the pain of their loss on this earth. Thank you mom & dad for your love and a great life you gave to my siblings and I. Until then I'll miss you terribly but have such joy to know you're truly at home forever.
