Age 22, of Mt. Morris died Tuesday, October 14, 2014. The funeral service will take place 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 18, 2014, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris, with cremation to follow. Cole’s family will be present at the funeral home to receive friends on Friday from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and on Saturday from 10:00 am until time of service at 2:00 pm.
Cole was born June 5, 1992, in Flint, the son of Michael Ratcliff and Rebecca (Jung) Findlay. Cole graduated from Elisabeth Ann Johnson High School, Class of 2010. He worked as a Fabricator at Thompson I.G and was a member of the Eagles Auto City Aerie #3485. Cole loved spending time with his family and friends, watching the Detroit Tigers and Sunday Night Football with his dad, traveling to Vermont, listening to music, woodworking and cooking.
Left to cherish his memory, his mother Becky and husband, Thomas Findlay, father Michael Ratcliff and Wendy Moreau; sister Jordan Lynn Ratcliff and Eddie Stern; grandmother, Sarah Powers; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Cole was preceded in death by his grandmother Trula Ratcliff, and his friend James McCleese.
