Obituary of Bernice Du Breuil

Age 92 of Clio, died Tuesday, October 7, 2014, at McLaren Hospital. Funeral Service will take place 1:00 pm, Saturday, October 11, 2014, at Martin Funeral, Cremation, and Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Family will be present at the funeral home Friday, October 10, 2014, from 12:00 noon to 8:00 pm and Saturday, October 11, 2014, from 12:00 noon until time of service. Bernice will be laid to rest at Flint Memorial Park. Bernice was born August 24, 1922. in Kalamazoo, to Francis and Grace (Gunlock) Pierson. She was united in marriage on April 28, 1941, to Robert Du Breuil. Bernice loved to cook and bake for her family. She enjoyed fishing and playing bingo, lottery and cards. She liked to watch The Walton's and Golden Girls. Bernice loved being a Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. Left to cherish her memory are: two sons; David Du Breuil, Robert and wife, Cecilia Du Breuil; one grandson, Joseph Du Breuil; one great-grandson, Jayden Du Breuil; long time best friend, Wanda Willey; niece, Bernice McNeil; and many nieces and nephews. Bernice was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers and sisters, Ruth Sharp, Bernett Schanick, Fran Yates, Phyllis Sneller, Aubrey (Jack) Pierson, and Francis (Bud) Pierson.
