This comes as such a surprise. Gene was the nicest of people, when I was young My Father Alan and he were the closest of friends. I remember staying up late when Gene and Tina were together, and swimming just have a good old time with his boys. Our family's heart goes out to you, Chris, Scott, Ryan, and extended family. Gene was one of a kind always giving some of the greatest advice one would ever want to receive. It comes with great sadness that Gene was taken so young. Now Tina and he are dancing in heaven, looking down. Once again our thoughts and prayers for the family, he will surely be missed. Peace, Todd Babcock, Alan Babcock, Rod Babcock, and Family!!!!!!!!!

Chris,Scott,and Ryan, So sorry for your loss, Gene was such a nice guy we used to talk a a lot in the AC model shop and lived down the street on Webster Road.Such a young age. Our prayers are with you.

My condolences go out to all Gene's Family and friends. I came to know Gene a few years before he retired from Delphi when My responsibilities as a "ProcessEngineer" required us from time to time to work on intense and special projects that required certain materials or tools with in the Model Shop, which we did not have. This required for me to process the necessary paperwork to make the purchases which I ordered and Gene brought them back from various vendors in the Michigan area for our use. I'm sure he will be dearly missed because as I recall, He was a kind, considerate, responsible and jovial kind of person easy to work with. So I would like to share this scripture with all of Gene's loved ones. American Standard Version Bible says at Acts 24:15 having hope toward God, which these also themselves look for, that there shall be a resurrection both of the just and unjust.

What a shame to learn this, I ran into Gene last fall at the grocers and he seemed quite happy and full of plans for enjoying his retirement. Condolences to the family, I have known the family for nearly as long as my daughter Harli was taken care of at Sonny and Kelly's house. Anne Fortier

I am so sad at the loss of such a wonderful man. He was a good friend. Such an infectious laugh. You couldn't help but laugh or smile in return. Gone much too soon. The good Lord will care for him now. My sympathies go to his family. He will be missed.
