Obituary of Jeffrey Fournier

Beloved brother, husband, father and grandfather of Flint, Michigan, passed away late Wednesday, evening, June 4, 2014, at the age of 66, from health complications at Covenant Hospital in Saginaw, Michigan. Son of the late Edward and Josephine Fournier, and brother to Jack, Doug, Eddie and the late Sharon Swann. Jeff was born in Flint, Michigan and worked most of his life as a Medical Technician. In his free time he enjoyed bowling, golfing, and freelance videography. Over the course of his life, Jeff threw many memorable family events that will long live in the hearts of all who attended. He was a die hard fan of the Detroit Tigers as well as the Detroit Lions. He also was a huge fan of U of M Football. He was a lover of entertainment and enjoyed watching movies and being a connoisseur of the “top of the line” home entertainment experience. Jeff was loved for his keen sense of humor, matter of fact opinion, and dedication to providing for his family. Jeff is survived by his wife, Carol; daughters, Angela and Jenny; sons Trevor and Travis; and grandson, Billy. The funeral service will take place at 2:00 pm Sunday, June 8, 2014, at Martin Funeral, Cremation, & Tributes Services. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until the time of service at 2:00 pm, then from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
