Obituary of Gene A Goss

Of Mt. Morris, age 85, died Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at Brian House Hospice. Cremation has taken place. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Brian's House. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Gene was born September 12, 1924 in Fenton, Michigan the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wesley and Anna (Turner) Goss. He and Ella Webster were united in marriage September 1, 1956 in Linden. Gene proudly served his country during World War II, in the United States Marine Corps. He worked as a Mill Wright for Fisher Body Grand Blanc, for 30 years, retiring in 1984. Gene enjoyed bow hunting, fishing, wood working, painting, and spending time with his family. Gene leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 54 years Ella, three children, Scott and wife Jan Goss of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Keith and wife Denise Goss of North Pole, Michigan and April Goss, and Billy Coleman, four grandchildren, one great grandchild, and one more on the way, brother Dale Goss, sister, Darla and husband Robert Oxley, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Jack Goss.
