Of Caro, age 69, died Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at Covenant Medical Center - Harrison. The memorial service will take place 12:00noon, Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at the Martin Funeral Home - Vassar. Pastor David Burkett will officiate with burial to follow in Tuscola Township Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00am until the time of service at 12:00noon. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the family fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
Virginia was born September 1, 1940 in Tacoma, Washington the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James and Beatrice (Plaine) Leonard.
Virginia leaves to cherish her memory her children, Jackie Kramer and Kevin and wife, Sherry DuRussel; six grandchildren, Jennifer, Cathy, George, William, Shane, and Jessica; six great-grandchildren, Rhynes, Oliver, Zander, Abby, John, and Jason; brother, David Leonard, sister, Mary Jane Kenard; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Larry John DuRussel and Edward Cole; brothers, Tommy Leonard and Lyle Decker; sisters, MaeBelle Leonard and Maxine Johnson.
