Of Vassar, age 78, died Sunday, February 14, 2010 at her home, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place 1:00pm, Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at the Martin Funeral Home Aaa Vassar. Pastor David Burkett will officiate with burial to follow in Tuscola Township Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 from 11:00am until time of service at 1:00pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
MaeBelle was born November 16, 1931 in Tocoma , Washington the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James and Beatrice (Plaine) Leonard. MaeBelle worked for Walbro's in Bad Axe as a machinist, before her retirement.
MaeBelle leaves to cherish her memory two sisters, MaryJane and Alfred Kennard, Virginia Sontag, and brother, David and Jan Leonard, special nieces Tammy and Donnie Huizar, and Bonnie and Bob Callahan, many nieces and nephews, and a special friend Frances Hauger.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Maxine Johnson, and brothers Charles AaA"TommyAaA Leonard, and Lyle Decker.
