Obituary of Lisa Kay Alexander

Of Flint, age 49, died Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. The funeral service will take place 2:00pm, Saturday, May 15, 2010 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Mr. Vernon Lawrence will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. LisaAaas family will be present at the funeral home to receive friends on Friday, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the charity of your choice. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Lisa was born August 29, 1960 in Royal Oak, Michigan the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John and Patsy (Middleditch) Gartrell, Jr. Lisa graduated from Durand High School Class of 1978; after graduating she continued her education at Baker College graduating with the Class of 1980. Lisa worked for Colonels in Owosso for 14 years before retiring in 1998. In her free time, Lisa enjoyed camping and going deer and bear hunting in Northern Michigan and Canada. Lisa leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Patsy and husband, Don Williamson; three brothers; John Gartrell, Scott and Michael Williamson; two sisters; Sharon Owen and Deanna Williamson; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Lisa was preceded in death by father, John; son, Zach Morrow; and many other family members.
