Obituary of Paul Ernest Vuncannon

Of Flint, age 55, passed away after his ten year battle with cancer on Monday, June 21, 2010 at his home. The funeral service will take place 11:00am, Thursday, June 24, 2010 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Pastor Roger Gedke will officiate with cremation to follow. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00am until 8:00pm. In lieu of flowers, please direct memorial contributions to the Humane Society and American Cancer Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Paul was born May 13, 1955 in Flint, Michigan the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest and Maxine (Frazier) Vuncannon. After graduating from Clio High School, he served in the United States Air Force in Security Forces, until he retired in 1996, after serving 22 honorable years. He then worked for several automotive companies, ending with Fortech Products, Inc. as a Technical Director/Chemist. Paul was very loving, generous, gentle, and well-thought of; he will be greatly missed. Paul leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Maxine; sister-in-law, Cheryl; nephew, Robert Scott; niece, Brittany Nicole; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; and cat, Toby. He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest; brother, Robert Scott; and several other family members and friends.
