Obituary of Bradley Andre Roussel

Of Flushing, age 43, died Thursday, July 1, 2010 at home . The funeral service will take place 11:00am, Thursday, July 8, 2010 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Pastor David Galbraith will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park.Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12:00noon to 3:00pm and 5:00pm to 8:00pm, and on Thursday from 10:00am until time of service at 11:00am. Memorial contributions may be considered to the Family Fund . Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Bradley was born May 2, 1967 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin and Jan (Davis) Roussel. He and Rachel Burris were united in marriage in February of 1989. He worked as a nurse at Memorial Health Care in Owosso for many years. He won several Nurse of the Year Awards. He enjoyed spending time with his family, woodworking, and hunting. Brad leaves to cherish his memory three children, Adam and wife Julie Lock, Charles Roussel, and Kacie Roussel, granddaughter, Meghan Lock, mother, Jan Roussel, sister, Vickie and husband Tim LePage, and brother, Isaac and wife Julie Roussel, mother of his children, Rachel Burris, and many nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.
