Obituary of Daniel Gohsman

age 43 of Vassar died at home on Saturday, January 11, 2014. Funeral service will be held Friday, January 17, 2014, at 10:30 am at Martin Funeral Home in Vassar. Pastor Robert Gadeken will officiate with cremation to follow. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery at a later date. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Friday, from 9:30 am until time of service at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to St. Michael's Lutheran Church Home Purpose Fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Dan was born October 26, 1970, in Saginaw, Michigan, the son of Robert and Patricia (Reynolds) Gohsman. He owned and operated Great Lakes Cattle Company in Vassar. In his free time he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and going to the Detroit Tigers and Detroit Lions games with family. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Patricia Gohsman; father, Robert Gohsman; brothers, Robert and wife, Julie Gohsman and Fred Gohsman and wife, Balapriya Manivannan; aunts and uncles, Lois and Tom Haynes, Sandra Reynolds, Carol and George Miller, Sharon and Len Stadler, Tery Gohsman and Michael and Cindy Gohsman; and numerous cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; uncle, Chauncey "Bobby" Reynolds III; and cousin, Chauncey "Rob" Reynolds IV.
