Obituary of Helen D. Huppman

Of Flint, age 85, died Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Maple Woods Manor. The memorial service will take place 12:30pm, Monday, August 30, 2010 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Grandson Eric Chapelle will officiate. Cremation has taken place. HelenAaas family will be present at the funeral home on Monday, from 11:00am until time of service at 12:30pm. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Helen was born December 31, 1924 in Akron, Ohio the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond and Florence (Sawders) Cole. She and Raymond Huppman were united in marriage May 23, 1942 in Akron, Ohio. Raymond preceded her in death November 2, 1987. Helen enjoyed spending time with her family, playing bingo and golf, Crocheting, collecting ceramic dogs and traveling with husband and friends. Helen leaves to cherish her memory daughter Cheryl L. and husband Mike Vansickle and son Ken Huppman; three grandchildren; Eric and wife Diane Chapelle, Wendy and husband Matt Hyder and Marcy and husband David Fischer and seven great-grandchildren. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, husband Raymond, son Timothy, two brothers and many close friends.
