Of Mt. Morris, age 87, died Thursday, September 2, 2010 at his home. Cremation has taken place. Charles was born May 13, 1923 in Little Washington, Pennsylvania the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ira and Violet (Meeks) Hall. Charles worked for General Motors for 5 years hauling cars, and proudly served in the United States Navy for 4 years until receiving his Honorable Discharge in 1945. Charles leaves to cherish his memory, three children; Carol and husband Sheldon Brown, Linda Kreh and Anne and husband John O'Meara; six grandchildren; LeeAnn and husband Jeff, Shannon, Stacey and husband John, John Raymond Jr., Scott and Walt and wife Dawn; 12 great-grandchildren; Jessica, Jaqulyn, Kaitlyn, Kila, Khole, Ty, Kaylyn, Ryan, Jason, Dustin, Shane and Cheyanne. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, five siblings; John, Ira, Dolly, Raymond and Frances, sister-in-law, Elaine, nephew Mike, niece Lillian and great-niece Baby Susie.
