Obituary of Leona L. Stover

Age 82, of Clio died Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at her home. Leona was born December 1, 1931 in Ladysmith, Wisconsin. The funeral service will take place 1:00 pm, Friday, January 25, 2014, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Pastor John Grantham will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. Leona’s family will be present at the funeral home on Thursday to receive friends from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. On Friday, from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm. Those desiring may consider memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Foundation. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. She is the daughter of Ray and Corena (Hopkins) Hayes. Leona enjoyed reading, crocheting and spending time with family and friends. Left to cherish her memory are, seven children, Phyllis Brock, Phillip (Lisa) Forster, Patricia Forster and Kevin Goldin, Pamela Fraim and fiancé Keith Woznick, Paul (Tracy) Forster, Paula Signer, Corena Carter; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two siblings William Hayes and Julia (Merritt) Derr; aunt Veronica "Peko" Moses and family; 3 special friends, Connie Savoie, Linda (Lloyd) Pratt and Nicole Binelli and husband; and many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Phyllis Powers; first husband Donald Lee Forster and second husband Lewis Stover.
