Obituary of Norma Mae Miller

Of Fairgrove, age 86, died Monday, September 27, 2010 at Whitehall Health Care Center. The funeral service will take place 11:00am, Friday, October 1, 2010 at the Martin Funeral Home in Fairgrove. Pastor Richard Lawther will officiate with burial to follow in Brookside Cemetery. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, September 30, 2010 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm and then on Friday from 10:00am until the time of service at 11:00am. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
Norma was a kind and gentle soul; she will be greatly missed.
Norma was born August 10, 1924 in Caro, Michigan the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John and Jessie Austin. She and Glenn Miller were united in marriage on August 21, 1941 in Caro, Michigan.
Norma leaves to cherish her memory, her granddaughter, Kristy and husband, Ken O'Dea; grandson, Timothy Miller; three great-grandchildren; Natalie, Nikkolette and Brittany; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Miller in 2008; son, Steven; daughter, Sue Olinger; grandson, Mark Steven Miller; and brother, Hugh Austin.
