Obituary of Germaine L. Scramlin

Of Flint, age 82, passed away peacefully Monday, September 27, 2010 at Heritage Manor in Flint. The funeral service will take place 7:00pm, Thursday, September 30, 2010 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Chaplin Goodman Cox will officiate with cremation to follow. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 3:00pm until time of service at 7:00pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
Jimmie was born June 21, 1928 in Flint, Michigan the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Beckham and Margaret (Blair) Potter. She and James Scramlin were united in marriage May 5, 1975. She worked at Little Giant in Clio for 15 years, and Fairway in Mt. Morris until her retirement.
Jimmie leaves to cherish her memory her son Tim Palmer, two granddaughters, Dusti Palmer, and Amanda and husband Theo Tiong, and grandson, Mike Coburn, one great-grandchild, and three nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jim, daughter-in-law, Gail, two sisters, Rosemary Coleman and Jackie Rabb, and father of her child, Harry Palmer.
