Of Fairgrove, age 61, died Thursday October 21, 2010 at Bay Regional Medical Center. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Saturday October 23, 2010 at 1:00 pm at the Martin Funeral Home in Fairgrove. Pastor David Burkett will officiate. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please direct memorial contributions to the Family Fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
Martin was born July 28, 1949 in Brown City, Michigan the son of Marvin and Florence (Bryce) Bowen. He and Carol Royle were united in marriage on November 2, 1968; they later separated but remained good friends. Martin loved riding his Harley Davidson and will be greatly missed.
Martin leaves to cherish his memory, daughter, Christine and son, Scott; ex-wife and friend, Carol; two grandchildren, Bradley and Joey; three sisters, Mary Lou, Virginia, and Kerri; brother, John; manAaas best friend, Boog; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
