Obituary of Melinda K. Buttars

Of Bluff City, Tennessee, formerly of Flint, age 41, died Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at Johnson City Medical Center, Johnson City, Tennessee. The funeral service will take place Sunday, July 26, 2009 at 3:00pm at Miles Martin Funeral Home with cremation to follow. MelindaAaas family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, from 10:00am until time of service at 3pm. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Melinda was born September 30, 1967 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth and Dorothy Taylor. She and Barry Buttars were united in marriage November 15, 2000. Melinda had a nickname for everyone and will be missed for her love of life. Melinda leaves to cherish her memory her husband Barry, nine children; Neddy, Mitchell, Justin, Nicholas, Barry III, Brittany, Bridgett, Brandon, and Haley, her mother Dorothy, brothers Lloyd and wife Brneda Taylor, and James, and wife Dawn Taylor, sister Willa and husband Bob Banks, several nieces and nephews, father and mother-in-law, Ron and Betty St. John, and sister-in-law Betty and Scott. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth, two children, Daniel and Patience, and brother Doyle. She will be lovingly missed by her family and friends.
