I recently found out this week about Tim's passing. I still can't believe it and I really wish that I had known at the time so I could've gave my support. Tim was a good man and I last saw him about 9 years ago. I regret that I didn't take the time to reconnect with him because he was always a great freind. My prayers go to all of his family, stay strong and lean on God.

So sorry I couldn't make the funeral. In the short few years I got to know Tim I got to know his ever-pleasant demeanor, constant smile and great (and sometimes off-color) sense or humor. He was always someone I could call to ask a question, shoot the breeze or dump my troubles on. In life, if you're lucky, you run across people who can light up the room with their very presence. Tim was one of those people. I have met a lot of people in my life and believe me, I have NEVER met a more happy person. That happines rubs off on people. I know I am a better person for having known him. He taught me what it is to be truly happy. May God keep him and bless you, Angie and your little ones. Always remind them what a great guy their father was. \

To the Shoens family, I am sorry for your loss of a wonderful husband, a loving father, and man of God. Know that he is at peace with his Maker and someday your family will be together again. The family is in my thoughts and prayer. Keep this in your heart...God does not give us anything that we can not handle...I know that it might seem difficult right but we are not meant to understand. He will be watching from those clouds guiding his family...

Hello Shoens family. To Tim's parents and brothers and sister, I am so VERY sorry for your loss. Tim was such a sweetheart of a guy when we were growing up and I am sure that much of that had to do with you guys! He never had a bad thing to say about anyone and was always full of laughter, jokes (even the ones only he got!) and smiles! I am so very sorry that he has been taken away from you way too early.\
Angie and kiddos-I do not even have words that can express how saddened I am for you. Angie, you should know that you were married to one of the kindest, sweetest guys I have ever known. I'm sure you know that! I can't imagine what you're going through at this time. My heart just goes out to you and those babies. My heart breaks for you. The only thing I can say that even might help a little is that with the help of your family and friends, Tim's memory and spirit will be kept alive for you kids so that they can remember what a wonderful father and person their daddy was.\
God bless all of you.

We were so saddened to hear about Timmy. He was such a fine young man, wonderful son, husband & father. We never know why God takes our loved ones especially when they are so young & with a young family, but He must have a plan for them. Timmy was always smiling. He will be missed by us all his parents, wife, kids, siblings, nieces & nephews and also by our sons Troy & Mark. We just want to let you all know that you are in our thoughts & prayers especially at this most difficult time.

To the Shoens Family,\
I am deeply saddened by Tim's passing. I worked with Tim for two years at B & B and when Tim walked in the store he had a smile that no matter what made you smile you could be having a hectic day and Tim just had such a kind hearted personality that made you feel better. I remember Tim coming in with the kids and i would always tease how they got anything that they wanted. It was quite obvious how much his children meant to him. I talked to Tim many times about life and you could just feel that he was so very happy with his family. I hope that over time you find comfort that Tim is in a better place. Heaven is now a better place because Tim is in it.

Psm. 34:18..The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit..May God grant all of peace and love at this difficult journey..\

My thoughts and prayers go out to all of the family and extended family. Growing up next door to the Shoens family was a true blessing. Tim and I just spoke what seemed to be days ago but was in mid-summer. Tim often honked the horn driving by 'just as a hello'. Timmy also spoke very highly of his family! We spoke about maybe getting the family up here for a visit and a cookout since I live by his Grams house. Life seems to be cut short for some, and the reasons we will never understand. I know the loss of my sister was a hard time in my life, and I can understand the pain you all are experiencing. Just know my thoughts and prayers are with you always. If ever there is anything I can do to help please call me. Love and prayers, Barb
