Of Flint, age 75, died after a long battle with throat and lung cancer, on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at the VA Medical Center in Saginaw. The funeral service will take place, 1:00pm Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Pastor Dale Lewis will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park, with graveside military honors by the American Legion Post #158. Family will receive friends at the Miles Martin Funeral Home on Monday from 1:00pm to 8:00pm and on Tuesday from 12:00 noon until time of service at 1:00pm. Memorial contributions may be made to a Family Fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Thomas "Bo" was born December 11, 1934 in Flint, Michigan the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Porter and Audie (Baker) Williams. He proudly served his country as a medic in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Bo leaves to cherish his memory, two sisters, Dorothy Faye and husband Jim Banks, and Virginia Sandstrom, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Norma Sue Russell, Doris Bernelle McFadden, and Yvonne Brown, four brothers, Edward Farrell Williams, Gary Williams, Larry Williams, and Robert Williams Sr.
