Obituary of Tommy Joe Wright

Of Flint, age 62, died Sunday, November 21, 2010 at University of Michigan Hospitals in Ann Arbor. Mass of Christian Burial will take place 11:00am Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at the St. Mary Catholic Church in Mt. Morris. Rev. Fr. Francis Faraci will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the Miles Martin Funeral Home on Tuesday from 1:00pm to 8:00pm. Memorial donations may be considered to the University of Michigan Cancer Center. Envelopes are available at the funeral home and church.
Tommy was born December 29, 1947 in Johnson City, Tennessee. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Finley and Hazel (Vanover) Hobson. He and Mary Jane Sweet were united in marriage August 12, 1967 in Flint.
Tommy leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Janie, daughter, Angela and husband Jeff Valliere, granddaughter, Danielle, dad, Finley Hobson, two brothers, Richard and wife Kay Hobson, and Ken and wife Amy Hobson, sister, Brenda and husband Larry Stratton, brother-in-law, Ray and wife Eileen Collins and sister-in-law, Linda and husband Cliff Jordan, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, and brother, Jimmy Wright.
