Contributions to the tribute of Gorden H Rose

Gorden was a great worker and we enjoyed getting to know him. We worked for Baptist Hospital and then Mercy Health Partners. Every day he would greet us with a smile and hello...we kidded a lot with him because he was easy to get along with. We will miss him very much. Any time we had a special meal or event, he would do anything to help us. And of course we invited him to eat with us....which he gladly accepted. The company has lost a very valuable employee and we lost a friend.\ May God be with you at this time. Delores & Sue

It seems so odd to drive onto campus and not see Gordon...he certainly will be missed. Gordon helped me a million times. Loading, unloading, moving, finding furniture for me, etc, etc. I'll always remember him stealing my Cheez-It crackers and laughing as he walked down the hallway. He was a true friend and I am very, very sad that we have lost him. Rest in peace dear friend!

I just met Gordon this year when my company moved into one of the Mercy Health Care buildings. He always came in everyday to see if we needed anything or just to say hello. We had a Thanksgiving luncheon here at our office just recently, he came and had lunch with our staff, he was a friend, and I will miss seeing him everyday. \ \ Our hearts and prayers go out to your family.\ \ Donnett Garrett,\ Knoxville, TN.

Gorden was a very special person. He was a caring, unassuming, gentle man who went out of his way to help others. He dropped by AP every morning to fill his coffee cup and bring a ray of sunshine into our lives. He will be greatly missed by all at Mercy Riverside.

I often wonder what became of Poncho as I have not seen him since we were kids growing up on West Downey. I am always saddened upon hearing of old friends and neighbors passing away.
