Obituary of Rebecca Plamondon

Of Mt. Morris, age 59, died Sunday, December 12, 2010 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. The funeral service will take place 11:00 am, Thursday, December 16, 2010 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Pastor Wesley Duncan will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm and then on Wednesday from 1:00pm until 8:00pm. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the family fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Rebecca was born October 4, 1951 in Flint, Michigan the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil and Violet (Patterson) Hetzer. She and Leonard Plamondon were united in marriage April 11, 1970. Rebecca loved family, church, people in general, especially children, and fishing; she will be greatly missed. Rebecca leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 40 years, Leonard Plamondon, daughter, Stacie and husband, Michael Kamen, two sons, Duane and wife, Christa, and Larry and wife, Kim Plamondon, four grandchildren, Michael and Sara Kamen, Layney Plamondon, and Tiffany Chemo; two brothers, John and wife, Cheryl Patterson and William and wife, Janice Hetzer; sister, Pam and husband, Mike Hare; sister-in-law, Debbie Pattee; and several nieces, nephews, friends, and church family. Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Timothy and Jeffrey; and step-father, Glen Lawrence.
