Obituary of Patrick Thomas Slattery

SLATTERY, Patrick Thomas Jr. "Pat" " age 40 of Mt. Morris, died Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at his home. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 2:00 pm, Pastor David Burkett will officiate with cremation to follow. Private burial will be held at a later date. Family will receive friends at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Service on Saturday from 12:00 noon until time of service at 2:00 pm. Memorial donations may be directed to a Family Fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Pat was born December 15, 1973 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Patrick Sr. and Diane (Harris) Slattery. He and Lori Grabowski were united in marriage on June 11, 1999. He was self employed as a mechanic. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with family and friends and was able to fix anything. Left to cherish his memory are wife, Lori; son, Patrick III; mother, Diane Orefice; brothers, Michael and wife, Tressa Slattery, Tim and wife, Cathy Slattery and Chad and wife, Rebecca Storms; nieces and nephews, Michael William Slattery, Travis and wife, Emily Schriber, Natalie Schriber, Ryan and wife, Brooke Schriber, and Abby and Jacob Storms; grandmother, Mary Lou Harris; mother-in-law, Penny and husband, Dick Hollopeter; brother-in-law, Willie and wife, Traci Hollopeter; and many special friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Patrick Slattery Sr.; step-father, John Orefice; and grandparents, John Harris and Clare and Michael Corcoran.
