Of Mt. Morris, age 55, died Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Hurley Medical Center. The funeral service will take place 11:00am, Thursday, January 13, 2011 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Pastor David Burkett will officiate with burial to follow in Tanner Cemetery. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12:00noon until 8:00pm, and then on Thursday from 10:00am until the time of service at 11:00am. Those desiring, may direct memorial contributions to the family fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
Arthur "Artie" was born April 12, 1955 in Flint, Michigan the son of Mr. and Mrs. Luis and Shirley (Isaacson) Bermudez. He graduated from Beecher in 1973, where he played sports. He loved the outdoors and was a drywaller until his heart problems no longer allowed it.
Big Art leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Luis and Shirley; daughter, Alicia McDonald; sisters, Georganne (James) Erwin and Kimberly (Rod) Siddons; and several other family members, friends, and his beloved dog, Ramsey.
He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and Ramsey.
