Obituary of Diane Viola York

Of Vassar, age 60, died Saturday, February 19, 2011 at her home. The funeral service will take place 12:00noon, Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at the Martin Funeral Home - Vassar. Pastor Greg Shepherd will officiate with burial to follow in Thetford Township Cemetery. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, February 21, 2011, from 11:00am until 7:00pm and then on Tuesday from 9:00am until the time of service at 12:00noon. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Diane was born January 2, 1951 in Flint, Michigan the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank and Eunice (Lester) Aymer. Diane was loving and energetic. She will be remembered for her light-hearted spirit; she will be greatly missed. Diane leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Lori and husband, Chad Hillman; sisters, Gean Lusk, Roxene Delong, and Pauline Churchill; brothers, Tom Aymer, Bernard and wife, Mora Aymer, and Jim Aymer; special niece, Kayla; special nephews; Mark and Mike; and several other nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Dale and Frankie Aymer; and brother-in-law, Waymon Lusk.
