Obituary of Janice H. Sharon

Of Mt. Morris, age 90, died Sunday, March 27, 2011 at Brians House Hospice. The funeral service will take place 1:00pm, Thursday, March 31, 2011 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Pastor Jim Harvey will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 from 1:00pm until 9:00pm, and then again on Thursday from 12:00noon until the time of service at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, please direct memorial contributions to the family fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Janice was born March 7, 1921 in Grafton, Ohio the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Grant and Jennie (Ody) Rogers. She and George Sharon were united in marriage November 13, 1954. They were married 45 years, until his death on April 13, 2000. Janice loved her family, canning, and camping; she will be greatly missed. Janice leaves to cherish her memory, son, Kenneth Young; daughters, Cheryl Sharon and Jane Ellen Lang; nine grandchildren; brother-in-law, Bill Crites; and many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 45 years, George; brother, Butch and wife, Dede; and sister, Naomi.
