Obituary of Eugene Kotlark

Of Flushing, formerly of Mt. Morris, age 80, died Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at Fostrian Manor. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2009 at 2:00pm at the Genesee Road Church of God 4344 N. Genesee Road Flint. Bishop Wesley Duncan will officiate. Private burial will take place at Flint Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Genesee County Humane Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Eugene was born January 13, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan the son of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen and Elizabeth (Curtis) Kotlark. He and Marjorie Kicinski were united in marriage April 16, 1955 in Flint. He worked at the Flint Truck Plant, retiring in 1978, and was a member of the UAW. He served in the United States Army in Korea. Eugene leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 54 years Marjorie, five children, Cynthia and husband John Arcond, Belinda and husband Michael Denker, Sharon and husband Timothy Jackson, Kathy and husband Jim Tear, and Gregory and wife Christine Kotlark, 10 grandchildren, one great grandson, and one great granddaughter on the way, brother Jack and wife Dorothy Kotlark, sister Marion Earl, several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers.
