Obituary of Dorothy Tregilgas

Of Mt. Morris, age 90, died Thursday, May 5, 2011 at Avalon Hospice. The funeral service will take place 11:00am, Monday, May 9, 2011 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Mr. Garfield Cooper will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. Dorothy's family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, from 11:00am until 8:00pm.
Dorothy was born September 2, 1920 in Brantford, Ontario, Canada the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew and Beatrice (Smith) Forbes. She and Hedley Tregilgas were united in marriage September 16, 1939 in Flint. He preceded her in death, January 15, 2004.
Dorothy leaves to cherish her memory two children; Andrew (Lorraine) Tregilgas and Lloyd L. Tregilgas; 16 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and son-in-law, Kenneth Newcombe, Jr.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Hedley and two daughters; Andrea Newcombe and Beatriceann Fost.
