Obituary of Carolyn F Neuenfeldt

Of Vassar, age 71, died Thursday, May 19, 2011 at Cartwright Care Center in Saginaw. Mass of Christian Burial will take place 11:00am, Monday, May 23, 2011 at the St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church in Vassar, with burial to follow in St. Andrew Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the Martin Funeral Home in Vassar on Sunday from 12:00noon to 8:00pm. On Sunday evening family, friends, and parish will gather to pray the Rosary at 7:00pm. On Monday, Carolyn will be taken to church where she will lie in state from 10:00am until time of Funeral Mass at 11:00am. Carolyn was born April 9, 1940 in Saginaw, Michigan the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter and Ethel (Lange) Narlock. She and Robert Neuenfeldt were united in marriage February 19, 1966 in Saginaw, Michigan. Carolyn worked as a clerk for the City of Vassar and Vassar Township. She also worked for Central Shop Rite until July 2010. She enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren, traveling, going to the casino, and tending to her flowers. Carolyn leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Robert, daughter, Shelley and husband Howard Lazzaro, two grandchildren, Ashley Holzhei and fiance Scott Kittle and Nathan Holzhei, brother, Gary and wife Judi Narlock, of Florida, and many brothers and sisters in-law, nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
