Obituary of Frances E. Miller

Of Mt. Morris, age 84, died Monday, May 23, 2011 at Maple Woods Manor. The funeral service will take place 11:00am, Friday, May 27, 2011 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Pastor David Burkett will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. Frances' family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, May 26, 2011 from 11:00am to 9:00pm. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to a charity of your choice. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Frances was born December 10, 1926 in Flint, Michigan the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Willis and Florence (Slusser) Burley. She and John Andrew Miller were united in marriage June 5, 1948. She worked at the IMA with a variety of jobs, retiring in 1986. Frances enjoyed her community & church involvement and was very committed and loving to her family and life long friends. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Bethany and husband Paul Zamarripa, John and wife Susan Miller, Cynthia and husband Lee Trevino, and Tina Harburn; grandchildren; Danny (Jennifer), Eric (Rachel), Micaela, Melanie Trevino, Todd (Stacie) Zamarripa, Stacey (John) Richards, Carl and Rene' Mizell, Donna Miller, great-grandchildren; Kaleigh, Hailey, Brock, Noah, Drew, Logan, Myles, Landon, Trenton, Jackson, Gavin, Gwendolyn, Amelia; brother, Buck (Dorothy) Burley; sister, Ruby (Rich) Gengler, sister-in-law, Ella (Don) Stone and special friends; Phyllis and Elwood Palmer. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the entire staff at Maple Woods Manor. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, John, parents, two sisters and two brothers.
