My mom, Doris Krug Laing and Rosetta were friends from Dugger, Indiana. They loved to talk about their growing up years. There was a special bond between the two women besides their roots, they both loved the Lord Jesus. I am smiling to think about the wonderful reunion in heaven as all the Duggerites get together again! You are in my thoughts and prayers, Emma Mierta

Rosetta has to be one of the most wonderful women I have ever met. I met her May 1st, 1981 when I started doing her hair and I continued to have her as a client ever since, with the exception of about 2 years due to certain issues that I encountered and left the area. However, when I was able to return to the area, she returned to me as a client as well which was a great feeling to know that I was missed and needed. I have learned so much from Rosetta and I'm not sure if I would of done so well raising my daughter without her help. She was the one I went to when my 2-year-old daughter became out of control, and Rosetta came to my rescue. I viewed her as much more than simply a client, I looked up to her as a mom, a friend, and an inspiration for religion, life, and all it challenges. I grew up without a mother, but in this particular field of work, I have become close to so many wonderful women that have symbolized surrogate mothers. God has blessed in more ways then I could have ever believed possible. I also became close to Rosetta's children and grandchildren as well as some of the in-laws with being a part of their family at so many events such as weddings and births. I'm going to miss her so much and doing her hair one last time on Thursday morning will be very difficult. May God bless all her loved ones through this time of grief. With love, Shirley Martinez

Mrs. Graham is one of the greatest ladies we know!! Our girls will sure miss chatting with her when bringing her the mail and paper each day. Scott and I will sure miss the calls she made to us saying this is your "pesky neighbor calling" ~ we never felt she was pesky ~ but she sure did hate asking us for help but we never minded. The neighborhood will never be the same without you ~ she will be loved and missed forever. However, we know that she is in a much better place now free of pain and suffering ~ smiling and hugging Mr. Graham and her Lord. Fly free with the eagles Mrs. Graham.
